Janelle

DIRECTOR

Janelle is the founder of Maitland Community Support. She loves making people laugh, teaching them new things and helping clients live their best life. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her farm animals, catching up with friends for dinner or lunch, or visiting her much loved family. She also loves to listen to music, watch movies and travel to new places.

Certificates: Certificate IV in Disability Support.

Sandy

MANAGER

Sandy has had eleven years’ experience in the Disability sector. Sandy is a very easy going, reliable person who loves Reading, socialising, exploring new places, meeting new people, and getting out and about in the community. With a passion for helping people, Sandy also gets great satisfaction from the strong relationships she has built with her clients.

Certificates: Certificate IV in Disability Support.

Abbie

SUPPORT WORKER

Abbie has had four years’ experience in aged care, where she specialised in dementia and had extensive training as a Medications Nurse. Abbie has always had an interest in disability support, and she has decided to take the leap and begin her career here with us at MCS. Abbie’s hobbies include Getting outdoors, reading, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, She loves animals, and is always up for an adventure! Abbie has a very outgoing and bubbly personality, loves to meet new people, and will always go above and beyond to help anyone in need.

Certificates: Certificate IV in Disability Support, Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Aged Care.

Kylie

SUPPORT WORKER

Kylie is a mother of 3, she loves to cook and listen to music while spending quality time with Her family! Known for their patience and reliability, Kylie takes pride in helping others achieve their goals. She works hard to provide a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment for everyone involved and loves to watch the rewarding experience of being a support worker at MCS. She enjoys to celebrate each win, big or small with her clients and wish she had made the change to become a support worker years ago!

Guy

SUPPORT WORKER

Guy combines reliability with a genuine passion for helping others. He is easily approachable, easy to get along with, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those they work with. Guy is a life serving Maitland community member, with a wife and two wonderful children. Guy loves helping to get people to participate in activities and getting a smile out of each clients day.

SUPPORT WORKER

Maddie is a twin, whom although may seem quiet at first, will definitely warm up and become the funny kind personality we know Her as. Maddie is quite the friendly and motivated worker who enjoys meeting new people and creating supportive relationships. Her approachable nature and commitment to quality care make her a valuable part of the team. If you couldn’t find Her on Her property tending to the horses or dogs, you’ll find Her doing what she does best – caring for people! Maddie loves to help others and ensure everyone has a their voice heard. Maddie loves seeing the smiles of Her clients as she assists them in their daily lives, and considers it a blessing everyday to be able to provide such care.

Megan

SUPPORT WORKER

Megan brings a caring and dependable approach to their role, ensuring that the people they support feel comfortable and respected. With a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility, Megan is always ready to make a meaningful difference. She loves getting out and walking her dog ‘Mazi’ along the beaches of Newcastle, as well as gardening, and being social with friends and family.

Venessa is a reliable and approachable team member with a strong focus on providing quality support and building positive connections. She loves her job, being able to help people, allowing her to keep busy and always lend a hand. Venessa takes pride in her rewarding work and contributes to creating a friendly, inclusive environment where people feel valued and supported.

Maitland Community Support offer our range of NDIS-approved services to clients of all ages anywhere in the Hunter region; from Port Stephens to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie through to Maitland and the Hunter Valley.

Our individualized NDIS plans are designed not just to meet daily needs but also to support your aspirations and goals for the future. We cover both practical and emotional support needs, and with the right consultation with your NDIS-approved providers, you have the flexibility to adapt your individualized plan at any future stage, should you wish to do so, ensuring comprehensive support for all our clients.

We have a management team that will work closely with you to make sure that your loved one is getting the appropriate care that meets the goals that are set in your care plan.

Maitland Community Support is a National Disability Insurance Scheme provider, which means that you can be confident that we see your needs and are committed to helping you meet them. Maitland Community Support is proud to offer NDIS support, whether we can help with a smaller package that requires minimal assistance to a larger package that involved more care. As part of our service, you’ll have access of supports with our helpful and friendly support team. Maitland Disability Services are integral to our offerings, ensuring comprehensive support for all our clients.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme – or NDIS – is implemented entirely by the National Disability Insurance Agency. It is a focused initiative that allows  approved participants access to funded supports that are based on the needs of each individual.
