Janelle

DIRECTOR / OWNER  / SUPPORT WORKER

Janelle is the founder of Maitland Community Support. She loves making people laugh, teaching them new things and helping clients live their best life. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her farm animals, catching up with friends for dinner or lunch, or visiting her much loved family. She also loves to listen to music, watch movies and travel to new places.

Sandy

SUPPORT WORKER

Sandy has had eleven years’ experience in the Disability sector. Sandy is a very easy going, reliable person who loves Reading, socialising, exploring new places, meeting new people, and getting out and about in the community. With a passion for helping people, Sandy also gets great satisfaction from the strong relationships she has built with her clients.

Certificates: Certificate IV in Disabilities, NDIS Working with children’s check, NDIS Workers check, First Aid, Class C Driver’s License, and an Insured and reliable vehicle.

Sharon

SUPPORT WORKER

Sharon brings a wealth of expertise to our team, withover 20 years of experience in the disability industry and 15 years of hands-on supervisor experience. Sharon is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support, ensuring each client feels valued and empowered.

Outside of work, Sharon loves reading and spending time in nature. Her great sense of humor and warm personality make her a joy to be around, fostering a positive environment for both colleagues and clients. Sharon also has a deep love for horses, finding joy and peace in their companionship.

Certificates: Certificate IV in Disabilities, Working with Childrens Check, NDIS Worker Check, Class C Driver’s License, and an Insured and reliable vehicle.

Abbie

SUPPORT WORKER

Abbie has had four years’ experience in aged care, where she specialised in dementia and had extensive training as a Medications Nurse. Abbie has always had an interest in the Disability side of things, so she has decided to take the leap and begin her career here with us at MCS. Abbie also holds a Certificate III in Individual Support.

Support Worker Abbie’s hobbies include Getting outdoors and exploring, the beach, swimming, reading, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, she loves animals, and she is always up for an adventure! Abbie has a very outgoing and bubbly personality, loves to meet new people, and will always go above and beyond to help anyone in need.

Certificates: Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Business Administration, First Aid Certificate, Including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis and Providing First aid in a basic Education setting, Class C Driver’s License, NDIS Working with Childrens Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, Police Check and A fully insured and reliable car.
